Luke The better acquainted I get with the Sigh back catalogue the more I have to think that you must consider every album independently from the others. I suspect most musicians might want you to do this. But few demand it like Sigh. If I were to have to describe this album to someone it would be, "If the movie Predator was an Italian opera."

Jordan Vauvert Et un nouveau cycle pour Sigh : la pochette de Scenes from Hell reprend une photographie célèbre de Yevgeny Khaldei car cet album c'est la conquête victorieuse de la terre menée par des démons défigurée, grotesques mais très charismatiques ! Un album brillant mais dommage que les guitares n'aient pas suffisamment leur mot à dire à cause de la production. C'est d'ailleurs pour cette raison que je préfère le deuxième mixage qui met les orchestrations au niveau du reste pour un son plus uniforme. Favorite track: L'art de Mourir.

The fans who took part of the "Prelude to the Oracle" video shoot at the 2009 Maryland Deathfest have been recorded shouting the chorus and the recording has been mixed into the actual song.

Disc 2 contains a different master of the album by Maor Appelbaum. It is believed that the Maor Appelbaum master was initially Sigh's preferred version. They had intended to use it for the Japanese version of the album.

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire

Je vais sortir le vocabulaire qui fait peur aux puristes : Gallows Gallery est un album court (jerniquenne !), avec du chant clair, des polyphonies, des "ooh ooh ooh !" et "aah aah aah !" de circonstance (ventrequenne !), qui puise dans le hard rock ou le metal gothique (morquenne !) ; bref, le plus accessible pour les néophytes (foutreciel !). MAIS QUELLE ÉNERGIE PHÉNOMÉNALE ! De toutes façons, il faut être le dernier des trve du kvlt pour s'obstiner à rester puriste quand on écoute Sigh... Jordan Vauvert
