Jordan Vauvert Infidel Art, deuxième album de Sigh, est dédié à Euronymous (c'est aussi grâce à lui que le groupe japonais a pu se faire une place) et à Abigail. Ça peut paraître comme un simple détail mais c'est d'une importance capitale car cet album reprend des codes du black metal épique (le chant clair profond dans "The Zombie Terror" ou "The Last Elegy") mais il s'en détache aussi, assumant encore plus son esthétique avant-gardiste. Infidel Art est un monstre de Frankenstein, mortuaire et théâtral ! Favorite track: The Last Elegy.

Je vais sortir le vocabulaire qui fait peur aux puristes : Gallows Gallery est un album court (jerniquenne !), avec du chant clair, des polyphonies, des "ooh ooh ooh !" et "aah aah aah !" de circonstance (ventrequenne !), qui puise dans le hard rock ou le metal gothique (morquenne !) ; bref, le plus accessible pour les néophytes (foutreciel !). MAIS QUELLE ÉNERGIE PHÉNOMÉNALE ! De toutes façons, il faut être le dernier des trve du kvlt pour s'obstiner à rester puriste quand on écoute Sigh... Jordan Vauvert
